"Morocco provided for an abundance of cultural and societal interactions, all of which resulted in breathtaking photo opportunities. Yet with the hustle and bustle of Morocco's many cities and tourist attractions, few experiences allowed for introspection and a moment of calm to reflect like when in the Sahara. T.E. Lawrence, of Lawrence of Arabia fame, said that "this creed of the desert seemed inexpressible in words, and indeed in thought." Encountering the desert brought a new level of appreciation for the unique opportunity to learn and travel with 16 other Yalies, and emphasized the captivating nature of such an environment."
