The charming, beautiful, funny and utterly original my friend Gita Mehta passed away last evening. She wrote many successful books like "Karma Cola', 'Raj' and my personal favourite, 'A River Sutra'. She was married to the iconic publisher Sonny Mehta. May she rest in love and light. Daughter of Bijayananda Patnaik was an Indian top political leader, aviator and businessman. He served as the 3rd Chief Minister of the State of Odisha from 1990 to 1995 and from 1961 to 1963.
Also sister of Navin Patnaik , present Chief Minister of Odisha
