*During 1970s our student politics days*…..

#*Sharad Yadav*, #*Mulayam Sing Yadav*,
#*Lalloo Yadav*,
#*Ram Vilas Paswan*. The four who were at the front of removing the  Congress from power for the first time.  All four started challenging the hegemony of political leaders whilst students. Sharad studied at the Robertson College and then the Engineering College at Jabalpur and was quite a headache for the authorities.  Mulayam studied at Etawah and then Agra, did a MA, obtained the necessary qualifications to become a school teacher and joined a school to teach. Lalloo Yadav studied in his village school and then came to Patna, then a centre of learning, to become a lawyer. He then worked as a clerk in a local veterinary college where his brother worked as a peon. The most memorable act on his part was his refusal to receive an honorary doctorate from Patna University in 2004. 'Give it to those who have earned it', he told the Vice Chancellor. Ram Vilas Paswan too studied at the Patna University. It is said that after his graduation he was selected as a Deputy Superintendent of Police in Bihar Police but preferred to contest elections and become an MLA. In the absence of a plan to create a new India, all four, despite their considerable political achievements, eventually dissolved into the Congress eco-system once the Congress eco-system regained the trust of the  people. #NitishKumar was Patna engineering college student.
