Prashant Bhushan fighting it out with the honourable judges is nothing as compared to Professor D C Saxena giving it to the honourable judges.
Some years ago Professor D C Saxena of Panjab University told the judges of the Court that they were corrupt. The judges were livid. They demanded an apology. To which Professor Saxena answered: I say that you are corrupt because I know you are corrupt and everyone knows that you are corrupt.
Then Saxena refused to take back his words.
The judges then sent Professor Saxena to Tihar Jail for having contempted the court.
The Panjab University stood in support of Professor Saxena and refused to take any action against him.

Professor Saxena was jailed in 1997, on 19th July. K Ramaswamy J. was the honourable judge with whom he got entangled. Professor Saxena was sentenced to 3 months in jail and a fine of Rs. 2000.
