#SriKrishnadevaraya ,his schooling was in Tirupati (Chandragiri).
His Grand father, Tuluva Iswara Naicker was a commander of #VijayaNagaraEmpire serving Governor of Chandragiri, Saluva Narasimha Raya. So as his father, Tuluva Narasa Naicker. We can say, Krishna Devarayas childhood language is Telugu, which is his favorite.
As a popular empire of Vijayanagara, he is also proficient in Tamil and Kannada.
Chandragiri was a capital of one of Feudatory Kingdom of Vijayanagara Empire, ruling Tamil Country, Thondai Mandalam covering present day Chennai, North and South Arcots Geenge,Kanchi upto Madurai
Krishna Devaraya spent considerable time in Tamil Country, before and after his coronation and so he is fluent in Tamil as well. His frequent visits included Kanchi Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kanchi Ekamberaswar Temple, Tiruvannamalai Temple ,Srirengam, Madurai, Srivilliputtur upto down south.
Krishna Devarayas coronation took place in two places- first at Tirupati Venkatadri Temple and second at Hampi.
All his inscriptions are in four languaes - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Sanskrit.
His writings that we know of related to religion. So, he seems to have preferred to write in Sanskrit. Amuktamālyada is the only Telugu writing attributed to him. There is no other work attributed to him in Telugu or even other languages. He was specifically instructed by Lord Vishnu to write this in Telugu, in a dream. He was surprised. He even asked Lord Vishnu, “but why should this work be written in Telugu?”
‘Krishna Deva Rāyana dinachari’ is a a day to day account of his activities, a diary so to speak.
His empire was called Karnāta Sāmrājya, his army was called Karnāta Bala.
He followed a policy of encouraging all the languages of his Kingdom including Telugu and also recognised talent without discrimination.. Mughals appointed Rājputs to high positions. We know of Akbar & Man Singh story. Similarly, the Arvaidu dynasty employed many Muslims. But these are not understood to be joint ventures of Muslims & Hindus.
The current descendant of Arvaidu dynasty admitting that Vyāsateertha (also known as Vyāsarāya or Vyasarājaru) was the Guru of Sri Krishnadevarāya.
