Congress government in India rejected the proposal by Shri Bhupender Singh Hooda for a memorial in Delhi for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. It was communicated to Hooda that a decision had been taken not to create any more memorials in Delhi to dead leaders. This information has been revealed by the historian Professor Kapil Kumar, formerly of the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
