Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh #PawanKalyan , President #JanaSenaParty has been…. for allegedly violating court-imposed conditions during his participation in the Lord Murugan conference held in Madurai. But this swift action raises a serious question — why is the DMK government silent on the recent custodial death at the Bhadrakaliamman Temple in Tirupuvanam, Sivagangai?
This marks the 25th custodial death during DMK’s tenure over the past four years. When the Sathankulam custodial deaths occurred during the AIADMK rule, DMK leaders were at the forefront of protests, condemning police brutality and demanding justice. Today, the same voices are missing.
Instead of targeting leaders like Pawan Kalyan for procedural violations, the so called DMK enlightened white collar people and supporting media should focus on correcting systemic failures within the police force. Justice delayed in custodial death cases erodes public trust and raises concerns about selective outrage.
Accountability should not be seasonal or political. It must be consistent — irrespective of who is in power. This is known as urban Naxilism

இது கடந்த நான்கு ஆண்டுகளில் திமுக ஆட்சியில் ஏற்பட்ட 25வது காவல் கொலை. அதிமுக ஆட்சியில் நடந்த சாத்தான்குளம் மரணத்தின் போது, திமுக மிகப்பெரிய அளவில் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்தது இன்று, அதே உணர்வு எங்கே போனது?
பவன் கல்யாணை ஒழுங்கு மீறல் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளில் வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்வதைவிட, தமிழக அரசு தன்னுடைய குறைகளை சீர்செய்து காவல் மரணங்களில் நீதியை நிலை நாட்ட வேண்டும். இந்த விவகாரத்தில் திமுகவின் நம்பகத்தன்மை முற்றிலும் போய்விட்டது.
நீதிக்காக போராடுவது தேர்தல் நேரங்களில் மட்டும் காணப்படக்கூடாது. மற்ற நேரங்களிலும் மக்கள் நலன் காக்கப் பட வேண்டும்.
