30 years ago this day the world witnessed one of the worst accidents, that man kind has seen, in Chernobyl. 1000's of kms of land is still contaminated with radiation and 100' of sqkms still kept away from any habitation and lakhs of ppl have lost their lives and many more still fighting various diseases. The starting point for USSR breaking down is Chernobyl accident according to Michael Gorbachev, has the humanity learnt any lessons from this catastrophe?ஏப்ரல் 26 1986இதே நாளில் மிகப்பெரிய விபத்து ரஷ்யாவில்  செர்நோபில்  அணு உலையில் ஏற்பட்டு பல ஆயிரக்கணக்கான சதுர கிலோமீட்டர் தூரத்திற்கு கதிர்வீச்சு பரவியது, 

உடனடியாக 28 பேர் உயிர் இழந்தார்கள், கடந்த 30 வருடங்களில் 10 லட்சம் மக்கள் புற்று நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு உயிர் இழந்துள்ளார்கள். இன்றைக்கும் பல நூற்றுக்கணக்கான சதுர கிலோமீட்டர் நிலம் ஆள் அரவமே இல்லாமல் இருக்கின்றன. சோவியத் ரஷ்யா உடைவதற்கு முக்கிய காரணியாக செர்நோபில் விபத்தை சுட்டி காட்டுகிறார் மைக்கேல் கோர்பசேவ், செர்நோபில் நமக்கு உணர்த்தும் பாடங்களை நாம் கற்று கொண்டோமா?
