#இந்தியன்காபிஹவுஸ் •••• நேற்று தி.நகர் பஸ் ஸ்டாண்ட் வழியாக செல்லும் போது ,பஸ் ஸ்டாண்ட் அருகே உள்ள நீண்ட காலமாக இருந்த இந்தியன் காபி ஹவுஸ் மூடிக் கிடந்தது. அதை மூடி வெகு நாட்களாக இருக்கும் போல. இது ஏ. கே.கோபாலன் மூலம் நிறுவப்பட்டது. அங்கே பிரக்ஞை பத்திரிகை நண்பர்கள், பல இலக்கிய நண்பர்கள், பத்திரிகைகள்யாளர்களோடு பல நாட்கள் காபி சாப்பிட்டது ஞாபகத்துக்கு வந்தது. இப்போது பாண்டி பாஜருக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று தகவல் குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் தரமான உணவு. காபி உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் நடத்தும் கூட்டுறவு சொசைட்டி இது! உள்ளே நேரு -ஏகேஜி புகைப்படங்கள் பெரிதாக மாட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும். சொசைட்டி நிறுவக் காரணமானவர்கள்! கிருஷ்ணவேணி தியேட்டரில் 1974-75 காலகட்டத்தில் சத்யஜித் ராய் படங்கள் சிறப்புக் காட்சிகள் முடித்து விட்டு இங்கு அமர்ந்து பேசுவோம்.மும்பையில் ஒன்று உள்ளது. பாண்டிச் சேரியில் கடற்கரையில் இந்தியன் காபி ஹவுஸ் இருந்தது. கடலைப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டே காபி சாப்பிடலாம். பாண்டிச்சேரியில் ஊருக்குள்ளும் ஒரு இந்தியன் காபி ஹவுஸ் இருந்ததென்று நினைவு. Indian Coffee House is a restaurant chain in India, run by a series of worker co-operative societies. It has strong presence across India with nearly 400 coffee houses. The consumption of Turkish coffee, is attested to in the Mughal court, and appears in Mughal art, from the 16th century, as is the existence of Coffeehouses'qahwakhanas' in Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) and Lucknow.. The domestic cultivation and consumption of coffee in Dutch India, Portuguese India, and French India, from the 18th century, was also observed and reported.French India leaving a legacy of coffee serving Café. During the late 1890s, the idea of an "Indian Coffee House" chain was formed.The India Coffee House chain was started by the Coffee Cess Committee, the first outlet – then named India Coffee House – opened in Churchgate, Bombay in 1936, and was operated by the Indian Coffee Board. In the course of the 1940s there were nearly 50 Coffee Houses all over British India. Post partition, Pakistan inherited the branches of Indian Coffee Houses in its major cities and continued the coffee house legacy as a social place in fostering intellectual discussions. In India, due to a change in the policy in the mid-1950s, the Coffee Board decided to close down the Coffee Houses. Encouraged by the communist leader A. K. Gopalan (AKG), the workers of the Coffee Board began a movement and compelled the Coffee Board to agree to hand over the outlets to the workers who then formed Indian Coffee Workers' Co-operatives and renamed the network as Indian Coffee House. A co-operative began in Bangalore on 19 August 1957, and one was established in Delhi on 27 December 1957. Later Bellary and Madras Societies were separated from their mother societies.[citation needed] Malviya Marg Karam Chand Chowk Branch, Jabalpur serves as the head office of ICWCS. In October 2018, Indian Coffee House opened its 8th branch of Jabalpur. There are 13 co-operative societies in the country to run the coffee houses. These societies are governed by managing committees elected from the employees. The societies affiliated under All India Coffee Workers' Co- operative Societies Federationformed 17 December 1960.
