My study on Mir Momin is in progress these mughal sources Padshah Namah
Tuzuk-e-Jahangiri and Ain-i-Akbari etc. are my contemporary sources for the diplomatic relations with the Deccan Sultanates. During the readings of MSS 
I found some interesting information regarding the famous edifice Taj Mahal so I thought that I'll share with you, the manuscript Padshah Nama and Shahjahan Nama gives many details about the Taj Mahal, here I am writing about the  Artists of Various Countries and their Salaries given by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan to built Taj Mahal:

For the construction of this unrivalled specimen of Mughal Architecture, Shahjahan invited to his court all the eminent architects and masons, and artists in his own territories, as well as from foreign countries; such as Persia, Arabia and Turkey. Master Isa Afandi was the designer, and Amanat Khan Shirazi was the Tughra writter were appointed each on a monthly salary of one thousand rupees. Ismail Khan was the dome maker, from Turkey drew Rs. 500 a month; and Muhammad Khan was the Calligrapher from Shiraz, Rs. 800 a month. Kazim Khan was a Kalas maker, firom Lahore was employed on Rs. 200 a month. The suprintendent of the masons was Muhammad Hanif of Akbarabad. Mohan Lal, Manohar Singh and 

 Lal were Mosaicists from Lahore, received each Rs. 500 per mensem. In short, the services of the most skilful men of the age in Asia were secured.
