சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற வழக்கறிஞர்கள் வளாகக் கட்டட வளைவிலிருந்து (1940-ல்)

பாரிமுனையில் உள்ள ஒய்.எம்.சி.ஏ.  கட்டடம் தொலைவில் தெரிகிறது. இது என்னுடைய அறையான 22 லா சேம்பர்ஸ் முன்பு உள்ள வளைவே இது. இந்த வளைவின் அருகில் விடுதலை புலிகளின் தலைவர் பிரபாகரன், வை.கோ, நெடுமாறன், கோவை கருத்திருமன், இந்திய கம்யூனிட்ஸ் கட்சி தலைவர் அழகர்சாமி, சட்ட பேரவை முன்னாள் துணைத்தலைவர் பெ. சீனிவாசன், எஸ்.எஸ்.தென்னரசு மற்றம் இலங்கை தமிழ் தலைவர்கள் அமிர்தலிங்கம், சிவசிதம்பரம், யோகேஸ்வரன்,சம்பந்தன், கரிகாலன், சேனாதிராஜா,பேபி என பலரோடு, வழக்கு விசயங்களை தனியாக பேசிய நினைவுகள் எல்லாம் வந்து செல்கின்ற்து.இந்த அறையில் என்னோடு இருந்தவர்கள் உச்ச, உயர் நீதி மன்ற நீதி பதிகளாக 8 பேர்

உள்ளனர்.

The  YMCA building on Esplanade  around 1940s from the stone arched window of Madras High Court. This building was inaugurated in 1900 by Arthur Havelock  Governor of Madras. Designed by architect G.S.T. Harris    the Indian  Jaipuri style was preferred  by Governor Havelock.  Namberumal Chetty the  contractor of the period was responsible for the construction.  The  attraction of the building is its richly decorated facade, arches,  projecting ornamental balconies, parapet wall with stone jallis. Made of Red sandstone facade said to be mined from nearby Tada.
