ARE WE PREPARED TO COMBAT THE NEXT PHASE OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC?

In India, at stage 2, the virus is transmitted from a cluster of positive cases to family and friends... The halt of all international flight arrivals and tracking symptomatic passengers make the Health officials confident that the transition to stage 3 will not happen... But the crowded supermarkets, parties and get-together must be avoided as the enemy is not visible... Social distancing and self-quarantine should be taken very seriously... Follow hand hygiene and respiratory hygiene.. It's a new virus... Overnight, we just can't produce enough doctors well-versed with ICU care management... The stigma attached to Corona virus drive people to hide illness to avoid discrimination and prevent people from getting immediate health care... Show empathy with those affected, ensure that his/her mental well being is undisturbed during the period, monitor them so that they don't come into contact  with general public from hospitals or homes out of boredom....

Prevention is the only way to save our country... Let's break the chain.
