Khalsa University, Amritsar. This is the famous Khalsa College. It changed its name to Khalsa University in order to show that it now has the right to offer degrees. In India, the weird hierarchical rules India follows since colonial times, ensure that colleges don't have the freedom either to design their own courses or to give degrees. That right is reserved only for universities.
