In the occasion of Seva Diwas, our dear Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s birthday on 17.09.2026, the following events were held across Chennai at the locations listed below with National General Secretary , and Shri BL Santhosh,
,Aravinda menon and state President Shri Nainar Nagendran. These events were co-ordinated by BJP State Secretary Shri Karate R. Thiagarajan.
1) Chennai East District
Time: 09:30 AM
At the "Kaakkum Karangal" Old Age Home located on East Mada Street, Thiruvanmiyur, breakfast and gift items were distributed to residents. Following this, food distribution (Annadhanam) and sweets were served to the general public. A medical and blood donation camp was conducted at Rajalakshmi Marriage Hall. On East Mada Street, I partook in breakfast alongside sanitation workers and distributed gifts to them. Shri Kumar, President, Chennai East District, BJP made the preparations.
2) South Chennai District
Time: 10:30 AM
Chicken biryani and gifts were distributed to sanitation workers near Sri Raghavendra Marriage Hall in the Five Lights area of Mambalam. Food distribution (Annadhanam) and welfare assistance were organised for the public by District President Shri Sanjeevi.
3) Central Chennai West District
Time: 12:00 PM
Food distribution (Annadhanam), a blood donation camp, and welfare aid took place at G.S. Mahal near Hotel Noor in Ayanavaram. This was organised by Central Chennai West District President Smt Latha.
4) North Chennai West District
Time: 01:00 PM
A medical camp, food distribution (Annadhanam), and welfare aid were conducted near the Bhavani Amman Temple in Muthamizh Nagar. This was organised by North Chennai West District President Shri Balaji.
5) North Chennai East District
Time: 02:00 PM
Gold rings were presented to newborn babies at the RSRM Hospital in Royapuram. This event was organised by North Chennai East District President Shri Nagaraj.
