Sir Benegal Narsing Rau (B. N. Rau) was born on February 26, 1887. He was a distinguished Indian jurist, diplomat, and civil servant, famously known for his key role in drafting the Constitution of India, and he passed away on November 30, 1953 -Sir BN Rau was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952 The nomination recognized his contributions to reconciliation between major world powers and the United Nations, particularly during the Korean War 1st Dec 1953, Indian Express Newspaper published the news of death of BN Rau The paper mentioned BN Rau as "Architect of Constitution". Jawaharlal Nehru gave a tribute to BN Rau, in the parliament, calling him the "Architect of Constitution of India" #bnrau
