The Troy of the Iliad and Odyssey isn't lost to time—its ruins can still be visited today. While the site on the northwestern tip of Türkiye actually bears the remains of nine different cities that rose and fell over the ages, two are believed to be connected with Homer's epic. Here, visitors can discover well‑preserved Late Bronze Age ruins exactly as they were found, and visit the nearby museum, complete with a replica horse.
