நாடு விடுதலைக்கு முன்னர் பண்டித நேரு இலங்கைக்கு சென்றபோது எடுக்கப்பட்ட புகைப்படம். இந்த புகைப்படத்தில் நேருவின் மனைவி கமலா நேரு, இந்திரா காந்தி, சரோஜினி நாயுடு, கமலா சட்டோபாத்யாயா ஆகியோர் உள்ளனர். அங்கு நேரு உரையாடிய கூட்டத்தில் சிங்களவர்கள் ரகளை செய்தனர். அப்போதே சிங்களவர்கள் நம் மீது வன்மத்தினை கொண்டிருந்தனர். கமலா சட்டோபாத்யாயா இன்றைய தமிழகம் 

அன்றைய சென்னை ராஜதானியின் சட்ட மன்ற தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட்ட முதல் 

பெண் வேட்பாளர். ஆனால் வெற்றி

வாய்ப்பை இழந்தார்.

Picture shows Jawaharlal Nehru, Kamala Devi Chatopaudia (next to Nehru, partly covered), Kamala Nehru (head covered), Indira Nehru (seated seventh from the right) and Sarojini Naidu (fifth from the right)( , poet-writer.)
