Baldwin-Government of India Act 1935

Stanley Baldwin
He was PrimeMinister 1923-1924, 1924-1929 and 1935 to 1937. One of the major Acts passed by his administration was the Government of #India Act1935 which gave limited powers of self-government. This was heavily opposed by Winston Churchill. #Baldwin is the only prime minister to have served under three monarchs (George V, Edward VIII and George VI) http://goo.gl/rJXJ8r
