Traditionally hay making…..
shire horses along with vintage farming equipment and a traditional hay wain were used to harvest the meadow to the delight of visitors who thought they had just bought a ticket to see the famous chapel. This old-style harvesting method gave wildlife time to leave, and the bales will be used to create new meadows across the city.)
