And slowly one by one they desert the sinking ship! The MDMK led by veteran Vaiko has two MLAs in the Assembly elected on the DMK rising sun symbol. Vaiko was close to the late ‘Kalaignar’ and enjoyed close ties with the current DMK chief until this electoral defeat.
