உலகத்தில் இந்திய நகரங்கள் பிடித்திருந்தாலும் எப்பொழுது லண்டன் சென்றாலும் பல வரலாற்று செய்திகளை ஆய்வு செய்வதில் எனக்கு விருப்பம் ஏற்படும். லண்டன் , ஆக்ஸ்போர்ட் மற்றும் கேம்ப்ரிட்ஜ் பல்கலைகழங்ககள் , அயர்லாந்து, ஸ்காட்லாந்து என பிரிட்டனின் பல பகுதிகள் பார்பதற்கும் கற்பதற்கும் ஆர்வத்தோடு நான் செல்கின்ற பகுதிகளாகும் . ஸ்காட்லாந்தின் ரம்மியம் மனதை ஈர்க்கும் . சமிபத்தில் London: The Biography" என்ற நூலை 

படித்தேன். .அதில் லண்டனின் வரலாறு , அந்நகரின்  பழங்கதைகள் என 

பீட்டர் அக்ராயிடு தெளிவாக படம்பிடித்து காட்டியுள்ளார் . 

இதை அனைவரும் படிக்க வேண்டிய வரலாற்று நூலாகும்.
