Bengal

Bengalis were divided over how to do the Partition. The Hindustan Times in 1947 captures the multiple voices in Bengal. H S Suhrawardy,Premier of Bengal; Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee; Viceroy Lord Mountbatten and Gandhiji.  Mountbatten's scheme was what was finally implemented.
